Sympathy and funeral flowers

Funeral flowers in Greenville, Michigan

Tell us where the service is and when. We will design something, send you a photograph of it if you would like one, and get it there in time.

A casket spray built by Greenville Floral, with pink lilies, gerbera daisies and roses among white lilies and purple stock, set up in a funeral home.
One of ours, built at the bench on Lafayette and set up at the home.

What people send

Quiet things, mostly, and something that lasts

A plant or a dried piece goes home with the family afterwards and keeps going, which is why funeral homes ask us for them. Fresh work is for the service itself. We will tell you which suits what you are doing.

Every one of these is built to order, so the amounts are where they start rather than a fixed price. Tell us which you are drawn to and what you want to spend and we will tell you honestly what it will look like.

Ordering by phone

Most of this is easier said out loud

You do not need to know flower names, or choose anything from a screen. Tell us the funeral home, the day, and what you want to spend.

  1. 1

Where it is going, and who it is for

The funeral home or the church, and the time of the service. If you do not have the details yet, we will call the home ourselves and confirm them.

  2. 2

Tell us about them, and what you want to say

What they were like, and what you would want the flowers to express. White with a hint of peach. Something my mother would have liked. Under a hundred dollars. That is enough for us to design from.

Easier for some people than saying it out loud. There is a short form below. Fill in what you know, leave the rest, and we will pick it up from there.

Write to the shop

Send us the details

Answer what you can. None of it is required except a way to reach you, and we will work the rest out with you.

This opens an email to the shop with your answers filled in, so nothing is stored on this website. If you would rather talk it through, the number is at the top of the page.

The hospital

Corewell Health Greenville Hospital

615 S Bower St, Greenville

Sending flowers to a hospital goes wrong for reasons that have nothing to do with the flowers. We ask four things before we build anything, because getting these right is most of the job.

  • What room is the patient in?

Wards move patients. We will call the desk and confirm the room before the van goes out.

  • Which unit are they on?

Intensive care and some recovery units do not allow fresh flowers at all. We will tell you before you pay, and suggest something that can go instead.

  • Is there a latex or scent restriction?

Balloons are often latex, and strong scent is a problem in a shared room. We build without either when you ask.

  • When are they going home?

If they are discharged tomorrow, flowers sent to the hospital will miss them. We would rather send it to the house.

Questions we get asked

The things people ring up and ask

Can I order sympathy flowers from another state?
Yes, and it is a normal way to order with us. Call the shop, tell us the funeral home and the time of the service, give us a color and an amount you want to spend, and we will design it and deliver it. We can send you a photograph before it goes out.
Do you deliver to the funeral home?
Yes. Tell us which home and when the service is and we will have it there in time. If you are not certain of the details we will call the home and sort it out, at no charge.
How much should I spend on funeral flowers?
There is no right number. Tell us what you want to spend and we will design to it and tell you honestly what it will look like. Many of our customers give us an occasion and a budget and let us choose the flowers.
How late can I order for a service?
Orders placed before 2:00 go out the same day. After that they go out the next business day, and we do not deliver on Sundays. If a service is tight, call the shop and we will tell you straight away whether we can make it.
